Influenced by Native American feather baskets, the niches in the newest mini-reliquary series are “feathered.” My obsession with old barbwire continues to weave itself into the art along with a life-long fascination with animal skulls. The dimensions of this wall sculpture are the same as those in the Neruda Series (the photo is simply taken from a different angle). “Chrysos” is the Greek god of gold.
