"Mouse"
One of the elementary schools in the town I grew up in was turned into a community art center. The director of the art center told me the story of how the elementary school had gotten a mascot. A mouse had become a teacher’s pet when it began to show up daily and beg. The mouse came out from behind the old radiator to sit for crumbs (which the teacher provided) thus the school adopted a mouse as its mascot. Inspired by the mouse mascot story. A special edition of 25 “Mouse” sculptures were sold out within minutes when offered during the art center’s annual fundraiser. I had fun creating this little beggar for them and am happy to offer this bronze sculpture to you.
Capture the spirit of the season with 'Mouse,' a whimsical bronze sculpture inspired by the heartwarming tale of a mouse turned school mascot. This special edition brings joy and nostalgia to any art collection.
